01

Scattered information becomes a dependable boat record.

Maintenance evidence, invoices, documents, equipment and dates often live in different places. That complicates day-to-day ownership, seasonal preparation, resale and recurring work. MyBoatDesk brings those records into one clear digital workspace.

The initial scope focuses on tasks that recur and need a durable history. Rather than modelling every possible feature at once, the platform grows around real use and concrete feedback.

02

The data model follows the life of the boat.

The boat, components, documents, costs and maintenance are connected. A change in one area should remain understandable elsewhere, so the data model was shaped before individual views and connected to permissions, history and secure file handling.

The interface turns those relationships into clear tasks and states. Mobile use matters because information is often captured or reviewed while physically at the boat.

03

SaaS foundations and operations were built together.

Accounts, protected data, transactional email, deployment and database operation are part of the product rather than later additions. Reproducible releases, backups and controlled environment configuration provide a foundation for long-term operation.

04

Building an owned product creates practical experience.

MyBoatDesk is an actively developed SaaS product, not a static reference design. Product decisions, support, infrastructure and iteration therefore feed directly into client work. The clearest lesson is that one complete core journey is more valuable than a long list of unfinished features.
